De La Senne's take on the Belgian Pale Ale style is quite un-Belgian, but very Belgian at the same time. Starting off are subtle biscuit, apricot, orange zest and mineral aromas. These continue in the flavour where the biscuit transforms into caramel, and are met with a herbal and light sulfur note. An assertive yet very well balanced bitter appears at the swallow. Medium light body, high carbonation, medium high bitter and a very soft mouthfeel. A quintessential quencher.
